Harry Johnson is an attorney with a background in strategic negotiation and renewable energy, as well as local and state government affairs and public policy. His practice areas include renewable energy, land use and development, real estate transactions, economic development, and municipal government.
Previously, Harry worked as a partnership development manager at Google, where he led real estate transaction negotiations for the company's fiber division, including office and retail locations and telecom infrastructure placement, along with local franchise agreements and land use permits. Prior to that, he worked for a major utility-scale solar developer, leading local and state government affairs, community engagement, and development work on tax policy and project siting across the country.
Harry received his JD from the UNC School of Law. He has a master's degree in city and regional planning from UNC-Chapel Hill and received his BS from UNC Asheville.
In his free time, Harry enjoys riding his bike(s), cooking, playing the fiddle, mandolin, and guitar, and watching UNC or Charlotte Hornets basketball.
