Kate Abdullah represents major lending institutions in transactions secured by commercial real estate and business assets, such as construction loans, acquisition and development loans, term financing, and revolving credit facilities. As a member of Parker Poe’s Corporate Leasing Team, Kate assists national landlords and tenants with their commercial leasing needs, including acquisitions of properties.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Kate was an intern for the Honorable Michelle Childs of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. Before beginning her legal career, Kate worked for five years in the employee benefits industry. She received her law degree from the University of South Carolina, where she finished third in her class and served as an associate editor in chief of the South Carolina Law Review.
