Will DesChamps concentrates his practice on construction law. Will advises general contractors, homebuilders, developers, owners, and other parties involved with construction projects on their construction and contract needs and represents them in a wide variety of litigation and disputes. A large part of Will's practice is focused on complex construction defect litigation and/or payment/contract/mechanics' lien disputes, typically involving large commercial properties or multifamily and single-family residential dwellings.
In addition, Will has represented businesses and individuals in a broad range of commercial disputes or other types of civil lawsuits. Clients benefit from Will's experience in large, complex litigation, as well as his previous counsel on insurance defense and insurance coverage.
Will graduated magna cum laude from Charleston School of Law, where he served as articles editor for the Charleston Law Review and was the recipient of multiple CALI Awards. He is the third generation of his family to graduate from Clemson University.
