Raleigh, NC — Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that North Carolina Lawyers Weekly has honored Jeremy Locklear among its Icons and Phenoms. The award program recognizes the region’s most accomplished and promising legal professionals. Jeremy was nominated by one of his peers and selected by a panel of judges from the publication’s editorial team as one of the most promising legal professionals.
Jeremy represents employers in a broad range of employment-related disputes and litigation. He also helps employers navigate complex federal and state laws and regulations through providing advice on day-to-day employment issues such as hiring and terminations, discipline and corrective action, and accommodation requests. He has experience at the trial and appellate levels of state and federal courts, along with representative experience in both state and federal administrative agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the North Carolina Department of Labor.
Jeremy serves on the board of governors for the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA). He also serves as an American Bar Association state bar delegate for the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the NCBA and serves the YLD as the bar outreach division director. He is also an active member of the NCBA’s Minorities in the Profession Committee. In addition, he is a member of UNC’s Alumni Committee on Racial and Ethnic Diversity.
North Carolina Lawyers Weekly will honor Jeremy and its other Icons and Phenoms at an event on June 13 at the Wake County Shrine Club in Raleigh.
