Charlotte, NC – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) has named Parker Poe a top three finalist for the Thomas L. Sager Award. The award highlights firms’ commitments "to building a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive legal industry that benefits everyone," according to the MCCA.
Since 1999, the Sager Award has recognized law firms that are leaders in diversity and inclusion. The MCCA determines finalists and winners by analyzing quantitative and qualitative data from its survey of law firms' demographics, leadership composition, retention, promotion, and other practices. There are finalists and award winners for three categories: firms with more than 650 lawyers, firms with 251-650 lawyers, and labor and employment and intellectual property firms.
Parker Poe is a top three finalist for the second category. The MCCA will announce the award winners at its annual gala event on October 15 in New York City.
