Charlotte, NC – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that the Charlotte Business Journal has named Megan Dunham among the 40 top business leaders under the age of 40 in the Charlotte region. A panel of judges selected Megan based on her successful legal practice, her community involvement, and her overall impact on the region.

Megan is a partner in Parker Poe’s Charlotte office where she advises clients on estate, trust, and tax issues. Megan designs creative and flexible estate planning solutions to balance opposing estate tax and income tax issues and is experienced in implementing sophisticated transfer structures while navigating asset-related issues. In addition, she has designed and implemented complex philanthropic transfers.

Megan is a Charlotte native with deep community ties and has served as a trusted legal advisor to community nonprofits and other organizations. Since 2023, she has served on the board of directors for Arts+ (formerly known as the Community School of the Arts) and played an important role as the nonprofit navigates a major capital investment. She also sits on the board’s governance committee.

The Charlotte Business Journal will recognize Megan and the other winners at its 2025 40 Under 40 awards program on Thursday, May 8 in uptown Charlotte.
