For over 20 years, Brian has supported lenders on a host of complex financial issues, including single-asset loan structures, portfolio loan structures, short term/floating rate and permanent loan origination, mezzanine financings, and financings for securitization.
Brian has a particular focus on originating loans for the commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) market.
Brian advises clients who are purchasing commercial real estate property on securing the needed financing. He also advises lenders on real estate banking and finance transactions, including origination and defeasance of CMBS loans.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Brian was a partner with one of the 100 largest global law firms.
