Caroline Frey is a corporate and economic development attorney who works closely with both U.S. and international companies to advise them on business expansion and incentive projects as well as corporate and commercial legal transactions. She advises clients across a range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, advanced materials, electronics, batteries, chemicals, and agribusiness, with a particular focus on manufacturers, distributors, and industrial developers. Caroline also assists international companies with corporate structuring and other outside legal counsel services to support U.S. business operations.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Caroline worked in people and project management at a large hedge fund, served as a legal consultant for a group of private investment companies on philanthropy initiatives, and managed the legal and client service arms for a Washington, DC-based company that develops advanced data analytics to support local governments.
Caroline earned her law degree from the University of Oxford's Worcester College in England. She earned her master's degrees in law and economics from the University of Hamburg in Germany, the University of Bologna in Italy, and the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research in India. Caroline also holds certifications in international law and macroeconomics from New York University, as well as certifications in financial accounting and business analytics from Harvard Business School.
