Christie Shaw represents public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, service and purchase agreements, permits, licenses, and other corporate legal needs. She focuses on middle-market M&A transactions, including private equity platform and add-on acquisitions. She assists financial and strategic buyers, including with acquisitions of public hospitals and private health care entities.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Christie was an associate in the Charlotte office of one of the 100 largest global law firms. She earned her law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she served as a comments editor for the North Carolina Law Review as well as vice president of the Hispanic Latino Law Student Association.
Outside of work, Christie enjoys raising her chocolate labrador and Carolina Panthers football.
