Dylan Ray provides a wide range of tax advice to a variety of companies. His practice includes state and local tax planning and controversy, with an emphasis on corporate income, franchise, and sales tax. He also advises clients on federal and state tax credits.
Additionally, Dylan provides federal tax advice to businesses in connection with corporate formations, acquisitions, dispositions, and reorganizations and conducts federal and state due diligence.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Dylan was an in-house counsel intern with one of the world's largest employers, Compass Group. In that role, he analyzed tax controversies across the United States and evaluated the tax consequences of proposed employee benefit plans.
Dylan earned his master's in taxation law from New York University (NYU) and his law degree from Wake Forest University. He earned a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Appalachian State University.
