Paul Kolovos is a banking and capital markets attorney with a focus on representing lenders in commercial real estate finance transactions. Paul represents various types of real estate lenders in connection with construction financing, bridge financing, term financing, mezzanine financing, revolving credit facilities, and acquisition and refinancing of commercial real estate. Prior to joining Parker Poe, Paul worked for a large international law firm and advised financial institutions in various types of commercial real estate finance transactions throughout the country.
Paul has advised financial institutions, national and regional banks, debt funds, private equity firms, and other alternative non-bank lenders in a variety of commercial real estate finance transactions throughout the country. He's advised these clients on the issuance of construction financing, bridge financing, mezzanine financing, and other financing structures ranging from $5 million to over $200 million secured by various types of commercial real estate assets throughout the country.
Paul previously played soccer at the Division I collegiate level and professionally in Europe. He is fluent in Greek.
