Coker Holmes focuses his practice on business litigation. Prior to joining Parker Poe, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable John Arrowood of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. He also externed with North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Samuel Ervin and the North Carolina Department of Justice's Environmental Division.
Coker earned his law and bachelor's degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He served as president of UNC's Environmental Law Project, as a competing member of the moot court negotiations team, and as a staff member of the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology.
Outside of work, Coker brews his own beer and is a blues rock enthusiast, an avid outdoorsman, and an Eagle Scout.
