Brandon Kopp assists renewable energy and commercial real estate clients on a broad range of their legal needs. He is part of a team of attorneys who provide counseling on renewable energy projects, assisting clients with land use, zoning, entitlements, and, additionally, commercial real estate transactions, among other areas.
In prior roles, Brandon closed over $1 billion worth of dispositions and acquisitions of existing commercial real estate assets. He is experienced in representing lenders, investors, and developers across a variety of asset classes, including retail, multifamily, build-to-rent, office, commercial, and industrial properties.
Prior to his law career, Brandon spent six years working for two of the largest national renewable energy advocacy groups, helping to generate over $9 million in revenue as a business development and operations manager. In those roles, Brandon gained extensive insight into the renewable energy project development process.
Brandon earned his law degree from Georgia State University, where he served as symposium editor and an editorial board member of the Georgia State University Law Review.
