Overview

In 2016, Parker Poe established its office in Atlanta, Georgia, the firm’s seventh location. What started with 4 attorneys and 1 business professional has scaled to 49 attorneys and 27 business professionals today, as the office celebrates its 10th anniversary. In 2025, the Atlanta Business Chronicle ranked Parker Poe as the city’s fastest-growing law firm by number of attorneys. The leading business publication reviewed the growth of law firms since 2021 with 20 or more attorneys in Atlanta. During that time span, Parker Poe's Atlanta office grew 114% — nearly double the rate of the next-closest firm.

Parker Poe takes pride in ingraining itself into the fabric of the communities that our attorneys and business professionals call home. We have built trusting relationships with organizations throughout these communities, ranging from Fortune 500 companies and leading universities to small businesses and nonprofits.

In the Atlanta market, our attorneys and business professionals are involved in numerous business, legal, and charitable groups, including 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Alliance Theatre, the Association for Corporate Growth, the Association of Legal Administrators' Atlanta Chapter, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Atlanta Humane Society, Atlanta Legal Aid, the Cobb Chamber, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Atlanta, the Council for Quality Growth, the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL), the Georgia Chamber, the Gwinnett Chamber, the Judge Clarence Cooper American Inn of Court, Leadership Atlanta, Live Arts Theatre, Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta, and Wellroot Family Services.

Recent examples of our community impact include attorneys serving on the board of The Atlanta Women's Foundation, the Atlanta Bar Association's Litigation Section, the Council for Quality Growth, the GAWL Foundation, and the Gwinnett Chamber. In addition, our entire Atlanta office has partnered with Hope Atlanta to prepare and cook meals, serve food to individuals and families facing food insecurity, and assist with the organization of donations to ensure resources reach those who need them most. Those efforts were part of our firmwide Community Service Day the past two years.
