Chris Henry represents public and private companies in complex commercial litigation, business disputes, and government investigations. He has represented clients in both state and federal court in a variety of disputes including product liability and antitrust class actions and multi-district litigations, false advertising and trade secret misappropriation, wage and hour, EEOC, and other employment litigation. He has extensive experience drafting every type of motion, and has been the lead associate for both the criminal and civil sides of commercial litigation and government investigations.

Chris has significant experience in the health care and life sciences industries and has excellent working knowledge of health care delivery, patient care, and development and delivery of new therapeutics and drug treatments. A sampling of cases where he worked as part of the defense team in these industries include a large product liability MDL involving alleged pharmaceutical contamination, COVID-19 litigation under the Federal PREP Act, including as part of the litigation team that secured the first successful dismissal of COVID-19 litigation, and an antitrust MDL involving alleged pharmaceutical price fixing and industry-wide conspiracy that includes multiple class and state attorneys general claims from all 50 states.

Prior to joining Parker Poe, Chris worked in the Charlotte office of a large national law firm. Chris is licensed to practice law in both North Carolina and South Carolina and has represented clients in federal, state, and district courts in both states. He graduated cum laude, Order of the Coif, and Order of Wig & Robe from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he also served as the executive articles editor for the South Carolina Law Review. Chris’s student note on South Carolina products liability was also published in the South Carolina Law Review, and has since been cited by lawyers and judges in legal memoranda and opinions.

Outside of work, Chris and his wife, Taylor, spend their time chasing their 1-year-old around the house. Chris also enjoys playing golf, fishing, and boating on Lake Norman.
