Devon Rhodes focuses her practice on complex business litigation and real property litigation. She represents clients across the full spectrum of real estate disputes, including eminent domain and condemnation, construction defects, landlord-tenant issues, restrictive covenants, foreclosure actions, ownership, title, and boundary disputes, and zoning and land-use conflicts. Her practice also encompasses broader business disputes, including contract interpretation and enforcement, ownership and control issues, and claims arising out of real estate driven business relationships.

In addition to her litigation work, Devon advises real estate clients on a wide range of transactions and helps them anticipate and manage risk. She represents developers, investors, builders, lenders, property owners, landlords, tenants, and lessees in connection with restrictive covenants, commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, easements, development agreements, and other real estate transactions. Her work in litigation and transactions gives her a unique perspective when crafting practical, enforceable agreements and positioning clients effectively when disputes arise.

Devon grew up in Northport, New York. She earned her law degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her undergraduate degree from Yale University, where was the captain of the women’s lacrosse team. Before law school, Devon worked at Bridgewater Associates and while in law school, she was a law clerk for Duke Energy and Lowe’s Home Improvement.
