Fabian Walters concentrates his practice on public finance and corporate law. He has represented clients in the real estate, health care, education, and transportation industries, as well as nonprofits and local government entities.
Fabian has a particular focus on public finance transactions in DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Georgia involving real estate, affordable housing, and public schools, including colleges and universities. He also has significant experience advising on transactions involving tax-exempt and taxable debt, public-private partnerships (P3s), infrastructure, and community development finance, as well as other complex finance transactions in which he counsels issuers, banks, other institutional lenders, developers, and public and private borrowers.
In addition, Fabian has extensive experience with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules and regulations, as well as general corporate advice. He has also assisted nonprofit and faith-based organizations, foundations, and professional associations with all of their legal needs, from formation to ongoing governance counsel.
