Directions & Parking

Click here for directions to the parking garage and please note the instructions below:

The Techworld parking garage offers two entrances, located on 7th Street and I Street. Upon entering the garage, visitors should follow signage to the purple section, which provides the most direct access to our building.

In the purple section, there is a shuttle elevator with a single door that is unlocked. This elevator will take visitors to street level, exiting just next to the building entrance.

To enter the building from street level, visitors will need to press the call button located to the right of the entrance doors to connect with the lobby security guard. Once inside, all visitors are required to check in at the security desk with a valid government-issued ID.

Overview

In 2019, Parker Poe expanded its presence in Washington, DC. The firm moved from a satellite location to a full-service office in partnership with Leftwich LLC, which was one of the first minority/woman-owned firms in the nation’s capital. Our DC attorneys have a wealth of experience in regulatory, transactional, government affairs, and community outreach matters, as well as strong connections across the greater metro area.

We have particularly deep experience in the areas of real estate and commercial development, sports and entertainment, telecommunications, energy, investment funds, litigation finance, government contracting, and government relations. Our government relations counsel includes representation at both the state and federal levels. We represent companies before the United States Congress, the executive branch, and federal regulatory agencies.

Issues on which Parker Poe has represented domestic and global companies before the United States Congress include the following:

  • Transportation
  • Appropriations
  • Utilities
  • Renewable Energy
  • Economic Development
  • Health Care
  • Science and Technology
  • Tax
  • Agriculture
  • Manufacturing

In addition to direct lobbying on Capitol Hill, this work involves the federal Departments of Health and Human Services, Transportation, Energy, Treasury, and related agencies.
