Olivia Osburn advises health care clients with a range of their operational, compliance, and regulatory needs. Her experience varies from drafting and negotiating physician employment contracts and service agreements to drafting commercial leases for medical practices, including regional medical centers, hospitals, and clinics.

She has also assisted clients with corporate transactions related to mergers, acquisitions, and corporate governance of health care groups.

Olivia also counsels clients on regulatory compliance, including on the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, the federal Stark Law, and False Claims Act regulations. She has represented health care providers in Medicaid and Medicare billing fraud investigations. Olivia has some experience with litigation as well, including medical malpractice lawsuit defense.

Olivia earned her law degree from Wake Forest University, where she was the executive director of the Pro Bono Program and an articles editor of the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Her degree was in health and society, which focuses on how social, cultural, political, and economic factors shape health and well-being. Olivia previously served as a legislative extern in the Maryland State Senate, where she focused on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and drafted proposed legislation. She conducted surveys on existing ACEs legislation and worked with the public health policy team at Johns Hopkins University to bridge legal and medical research regarding ACEs.
