Olivia Osburn advises corporate healthcare clients on a wide range of regulatory, compliance, and transactional priorities, with an emphasis on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, and artificial intelligence (AI). She works closely with physician groups and other healthcare organizations to advise on operational, structural, and legal needs that arise across the healthcare industry, including practice management guidance, contract structuring, and long-term strategic planning.

Her regulatory practice includes advising on the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, corporate practice of medicine, and licensure requirements. A growing part of her practice is at the intersection of AI and healthcare. She advises clients on a wide range of contractual and policy considerations related to the deployment of AI technologies, including confidentiality, data use, and information‑sharing related to contractual agreements and organizational policies. Her work also addresses the allocation of liability and risk associated with AI-supported clinical decision-making and other technology‑driven healthcare functions. Her prior experience defending clients against medical malpractice claims informs this aspect of her practice.

Olivia earned her law degree from Wake Forest University, where she served as executive director of the Pro Bono Program and as an articles editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy. While in law school, she helped found the Wake Forest Medical Legal Partnership, expanding access to interdisciplinary support for patients facing legal barriers to care.
